Like the MB 705-1, this blank is the Swiss Army knife of rod blanks. So suitable for a wide range of applications, but our local bass anglers have found to be a perfect spinnerbait rod. Whether you leave it at 7’ for long bombs or cut down a bit for short, accurate cast, the tip of this blank loads up so well on the cast. It makes a roll cast artfully easy. The slightly softer action slows the hook set just enough to prevent the angler from overreacting to the bite . Spinnerbaits are easily thrown during the fight, but the SJ 705 keeps them pinned. If you are looking for the perfect spinnerbait rod that can step out and fill a few other duties, the SJ 705-1 (IM) is top notch.
