WOW! that Just about sums up how shocked and impressed I am by this hybrid rod. I have built over 25 rods using NFC blanks and I have to say I love them all, but his one is especially impressive. I bought it not knowing what to expect out of a glass/graphite combo rod, I figured it would be heavy, relatively slow action and not too sensitive but I got one anyway just because I figured Gary would not make anything that wasn’t good.. well its way better than good! I could not believe how light and well balanced it was, its exceptionally sensitive for a rod with glass in it and man does it cast great! It loads up and slings a bait with a beautiful controllable arc in the line every time! If your on the fence about getting one go ahead and do it you wont be disappointed!
