We (Sterling Gray Outfitters) built a crankbait rod on this blank and it is the best crankbait rod we have ever used. The CB 704-1 (IM) performs amazingly in both accuracy and distance. The blank material transmits vibration in a way that allows you to tell, undoubtedly, what type of structure/cover you are in contact with. we could literally feel when the bait transitioned from pea gravel to sand to chunk rock, or when I was in contact with wood cover. The moderate, parabolic action made landing fish a worry free experience. This blank is very representative of the Loomis Legacy.
