I used two of these blanks for catfish rod builds. I use bluegill for bait so the heavy lure weight rating was a big selling point for me. These rods turned out amazingly nice. The balance with large diameter, 14″/6″ grips and Penn 760LL reels is outstanding. They cast a mile and with about a 60-70 yard cast, you can feel every little nibble, rock or, ummmm, snag. Highly recommended. They’re almost too pretty to use. Great work guys.
