A Two-Way Street

Now that North Fork blanks have been on the market long enough to have had some builds and some fishing, we are starting to get feedback from end-users. North Fork likes feedback, whether it’s good, bad, or indifferent. We like it because it helps our blanks get better faster—much faster. We’ve already gotten some useful info from anglers on what they like (or don’t) and what they might like to see in the future. It’s all very useful, and like all of Gary’s other ventures, this one is built on the two-way street of communication.
So, if you’ve wiggled, built on, or fished a North Fork blank, and have constructive comments, we’d like to hear them (use the e-mail link). If you want a blank action to be faster, say so. If you want a butt section to be softer, make a point of it. And…if you can, use the CCS to let us know more clearly what you’re really after. “Faster” certainly means something, but “Three more degrees of AA would be perfect for me,” or “I’d reduce the PR by one, but see if you can keep the ERN the same,” means a whole lot more.
We take any carefully thought-out feedback seriously, and it truly helps us assess blank designs. We want North Fork to be seen as a company that actually listens to what rod builders and anglers want—and then acts on that input. Who knows, perhaps your feedback will spawn a whole new blank or series of blanks!
Thanks from all of us…
