It’s common knowledge that most blank manufacturers provide blanks not just to custom rod makers, but to other rod companies. G.Loomis for years built blanks for a number of customers who built up those rods under their own label. Few outside the industry ever knew or cared.

With the movement of having blanks and/or finished rods made in China, discerning anglers now want to know what blanks companies are using at the core of their rods.

Our customers are proud to tell them that the blanks are designed and made by the Gary Loomis team at North Fork.

One of our friends, Trey Kistler, is currently working with us on a few mag bass and crankbait models that he will be offering to the public under his “z-bone” label. He’s been doing a little “field testing.”  The only one not happy with the blank is the fish.
