The Second Chance • If the NFC rod-builder assessment group feels the overall build is not yet ready for the program, the builder will get a note that encourages the builder to adjust certain technique(s). If the builder desires, and pays for shipping, the finished rod will be returned to the builder. The builder may then re-build and re-submit. • North Fork doesn't view this as a "rejection," but rather as encouragement and support for a builder to further elevate his or her level of expertise. Moving skills ahead means better rods for customers and more business for a builder. • A builder may re-submit a rod twice (for a total of three assessments). After that, the builder must re-apply for the program, and build on a new blank purchased from a North Fork distributor. Note: All decisions on build are based on the opinion(s) of the assessment group, using their individual and collective expertise. There is no "arbitration" or other recourse offered if a builder is not included in the program. All decisions of the group, regardless of outcome, are final, and any builder submitting a rod for potential inclusion in the Approved Builder program must agree with these terms prior to submission. |
